Industrial buildings at Koreshan State Historic Site Preservation Plan
ABOUT
The Industrial buildings date from 1903 to 1910 and formed the industrial nexus for the Koreshan Community. The Koreshans had two machine shops and a generator building and provided their own power from the 1920s.
SCOPE
Preservation planning for three historic structure.
HIGHLIGHTS
- The area was documented with a 3D laser scanner and the 3D model is used in the planning process.
- The scope of work includes historical and field research, study of the site’s extensive historical photograph collection, identification of lost features to be restored and complete exterior and interior restoration treatments.
